Happy UN-Birthday 39ers September 2019

Celebrate … Breakfast, Spooky Friday & Hummers!

Although September is known as back-to-school week for the kiddies, it’s a crowded party room for 39 and Holding Virgo and Libra birthday kids!

Feel like you have a LOT of September friends? “There’s an app for that”! According to Reader’s Digest, as of 2014 official stats, September is THE most popular month for births in the U.S. Go figure. It’s all that cuddling during winter’s hibernation …

Along with Your UN-Birthday ~ Happy SEPTEMBER Celebrations
Did you wake up hungry this morning, but nothing appealed to your sensitive tasty buds? Rejoice! It’s All American Breakfast Month. You’re in for a treat with this site chock full of yummy breakfast recipes for every craving. Healthy … and, well … just plain awesome!

Friday the 13th: I long ago decided to embrace this date as lucky, rather than unlucky. It just seems that this is a day which if allowed, will prey on your deepest fears. Key word in that sentence, “allowed.” Hence, as a youngster I loved Friday the 13ths and still do! I revel in defying the norm …
The History Channel, however, tells a different story … Long considered a harbinger of bad luck, Friday the 13th has inspired a late 19th-century secret society, an early 20th-century novel, a horror film franchise and not one but two unwieldy terms—paraskavedekatriaphobia and friggatriskaidekaphobia—that describe fear of this supposedly unlucky day. Brace yourselves … there’s another one in December.

September 19-22nd:
Hummingbird Celebration (week) – The gentle folks in Rockport, Texas love their Hummers! No, not the auto … those amazing little birdies that dive and dart incredibly fast and funny before settling down on a red feeder to feast. Hummingbirds are a source of enjoyment to watch for many, but Rockport has created a whole week of festivities honoring the little darlings. Flutter on over …

September 22-28th: National Employ Older Workers WeekAge discrimination in the job markets is alive and well … especially for those who claim 39 and Holding! So if you’re an employer, please consider the vast experience an older worker brings to a job, along with life lessons learned, and perhaps a long history in their chosen (or related) profession. Those are extremely valuable attributes you can’t express in a resume, but will certainly translate to assets for your business. Hire 39ers!!

September 28th: National Drink Beer Day yea! I don’t have a birthday this month, but I can sure help you September 39ers celebrate with beer in hand! Not that I need a special day to drink a beer, but it’s way more fun if there is a valid reason. And I’m sure many pubs around the country will jump on this day with great specials, like Station 4 in Washington DC. Craft brews abound at this bubbling bistro. ♪
Cele-brate … dance to the mu-sic! ♪ Bet ya can find one in your neighborhood … or stay home and create your own Drink Beer Day party of craft brew-tasting! Whatever you do, stay safe … be smart, don’t drive!

For 39ers who Follow the Stars
Most of September belongs to our Virgo 39ers (08/23-09/22) which suits their appetite for control. With sharp, focused minds, Virgo folks may see some money rewards this month. Take advantage of the 14th’s Full Moon and make it happen!
While Virgo is boosting business for big bucks, the laid-back Librans (09/23-10/22) are quietly entering September for their turn at a bright month. Keeping it lowkey until mid-September, the Full Moon ushers in a couple weeks of fun and frolic, earning you the nickname of Brighteyes! Enjoy your birthday 39ers!

Aging with ATT-i-tude Platitude
Everybody needs a little lunacy, that’s what frees us from the pain of this world. ~ From Amazon Movie: Shadows in the Sun (2005); or as a Jimmy Buffett lyric aptly said so long ago, ♪ If we couldn’t laugh | we would all go insane ♪ (“Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,”1977).

Don’t wait, start now! Happy UN-Birthday SEPTEMBER 39ers: This one’s for you, kids – Bob, Karen, Jennifer, Thomas, Chad and the twins Scott & Verne!
